  1. Susan, do you need help doing the spreadsheet while you are gone? I don't mind helping.
  2. 258 sorry I am late posting. I was out of town and had no scale! Thanks, Susan!
  3. 267 Thanks again for doing this, Susan!
  4. 269 today. No change. Ughhh! 9 pounds from my goal!
  5. Thank you so much for doing this again!my goal is 235. That will be 100 pounds lost since surgery.
  6. 269 I hope your grandson is doing ok!
  7. I have to admit I used to be one that thought surgery was the easy way out. However, being 7 weeks out now, I can say this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but also the most rewarding.
  8. Forgot to post yesterday. 291
  9. 295. Stupid 3 week stall. :-(
  10. The way I looked at it, the consequences of NOT having surgery far outweighed the possible side effects from surgery. I am almost 4 weeks, out and have absolutely no regrets.
  11. Start now practicing chewing a lot, taking small sips and not drinking with meals. If you are already in those habits now, it will help a lot after surgery. Also, see if you can find a support group close to you. I started going to a weekly one before surgery and it has helped so much post op. Find protein drinks you like now for preop but don't buy too many because your tastes change post op. I had a BMI of 58 and had to do the two week. I also started walking before surgery so my body was used to it post op. I am 3 weeks out and my recovery has gone really smoothly.
  12. I had Dr. Kilgore. Surgery on 10/22. She is the BEST! no regrets.
  13. Today I hit 299. I have not been under 300 in 5 years. And that time was because I lost weight for a trip to Hawaii. I came home and gained it all back. For the first time in my life, I know I will never be over 300 again because I'm not doing it because of some silly goal like a trip, a reunion, family holiday. I'm finally doing it for the right reasons. Almost 3 weeks post op and I have not regretted my decision for even one second.
  14. I called my coordinator to make sure she submitted, then a week later I called my insurance to make sure they got everything. It was during that phone call I found out I was approved!
  15. Current weight 302 Goal 260
  16. All I can go off is my nutritionist, my surgeon, my GP and my hematologist. . All put genepro at the top of their list. I have to believe in what they say.
  17. I've never tasted it. I only put it in crystal light or water. Mostly crystal light. I use a blender bottle to mix it real well.
  18. Genepro protein has saved me since surgery as I could not handle the sweetness of the shakes. It's tasteless and mixes well into anything.
  19. Genepro protein!! It's tasteless and dissolves great in anything. No clumps, no aftertaste. And 30 grams of protein per 1 tablespoon. I bought it on Amazon.
