  1. Also on 9/15/15. Feel great, getting all fluids in, 20 lbs lost at follow up appt I days out, doc said keep it up, released me to exercise, fluids 1 more week and 1 week of puree(will just do yogurts and pudding, can't do baby food meat, etc) can't wait to see where this goes! Best of luck to you all!
  2. I am 9 days out and have only taken pain Meds once since home(the 1st day), have no problem getting my fluids in, & 2 protein shakes a day. I have very little discomfort, and I still lost 20 lbs in 8 days post-op at follow up yesterday. I honestly think I could handle regular food right now but i'll wait. I think it just depends on the individual. Good luck.
