Mine was $2500 for the surgeon....$550 for the anaesthist.....$80 for the dietitian.....got around $500 back from medicare

I dunno maybe there all different as i got some back...and so did my friend who got banded by the same doc as me...and there is a thread on here somewhere about others claiming back from medicare as well....just check up to see

yes your right...i think i have said this a few times.lol...that i didnt have to do optifast....not everyone requires to do it....it depends on your BMI.... Dr Nottle is great i really think he knows what hes talking about and doing

no pre-op for me which means no optifast

Reductil is great it works better than duromine and doesnt keep you awake all night or bouncing off walls...LOL

GEE.....my surgeons fee was $2,500 i then went to claim $700 back ...$500 came from medicare and the other $200 from my health insurance. I dont see why you shouldnt be able to do the same. I think theres a thread here in australia that states what others have paid, have a look through:)

Hi......yes i had to pay $2,500 out of pocket and then $550 to the anesthesist I went to medicare and got $700 back out of that 2500 so after everything i was out of pocket around $2,200....fills are free

Bronnie....your 100% right there....Peter doesnt require you to go to an info evening as he only holds about 1 or 2 a year...he has his own website that he tells you to read up on and to me thats good enuf as we do alot of searching about it on the net anyway:)
