Hello... My name is Leanna and I'm 34 years old.. I have been married for 15 years and have 2 kids. I have thought about having weight loss surgery for years. I began considering it seriously since the beginning of this summer when I started having swelling issues. I don't have any serious medical conditions so when I started swelling up huge I immediately got scared thinking I don't want to have a heart attack! Once that thought came into my head I immediately knew it was time to do something and get serious. Once I started the process for gastric bypass everything went extremely fast. I am now scheduled for my surgery on November 10th. With so many mixed emotions I started doing tons of research even though my mother had this surgery over 20 years ago I still didn't know what to expect after surgery. My research has led me to this website and I'm excited I found it. I hope it helps my nerves as I get closer to my surgery date!
