  1. This is kind of weird but lady at my surgeon's office submitting my paperwork's name is Kelly and the admin is also Doreen lol! I am in the exact same boat you are. They STILL have not submitted my paperwork!
  2. I'm in Memphis and my surgeon's fee is only $6000 for the sleeve. Hopefully it's not much more at your surgeon's office!
  3. I was told Cigna did not have a weight stipulation. My surgeon's office just required I not go over my start weight.
  4. Congrats!! I am still waiting for my surgeon's office to submit my paperwork. Hopefully I can join you in February!
  5. I feel your pain!! I completed everything Monday and I am still waiting to hear back from the surgeon's office about when it will be submitted. I want an answer now. Patience is not my strong point
  6. That would be amazing but I am thinking it may be February before I have it done. Congrats to you though!! You are so close! I am not looking forward to the liquid diet lol
  7. Good! I had my final weigh in today & now I'm just waiting for everything to be submitted to insurance. How are you?
  8. Your 3 month has to be physician supervised. I am doing weight watchers but I weigh in with my Doctor once a month for the "supervision" part. I hope to submit to Cigna at the start of the year!
  9. You are semi close to me! I am in Memphis.
  10. I hope to have mine done in February! I had my psych appointment Friday, this Thursday is my Nutritionist appointment, and then my last weigh in is December 29th for the 3 month diet. I am getting nervous! I just hope everything clears ok with insurance.
  11. I will hopefully be in February! I complete my last weigh in on December 29th.
  12. I am a Memphis sleever to be. Hope to have surgery in Feb with Dr Woodman
  13. I just had my first appointment yesterday and hope to have a February surgery date as well! That sounds fishy that your Dr is making you use his products. My Dr requires a $500 program fee that covers a lifetime of visits & support groups, but you can use whatever products you want.
  14. My surgeon's office & the people I have spoken with to at Aetna were pretty firm on it had to be over a span of 89+ days. I have to see my PCP and weigh in a total of 4 times. I just had my first weigh in on Sept 26 so I plan on going for my last one December 27th.
  15. Thank you! I have pretty much memorized the policy over the past couple of weeks. I was just taken aback when the surgeon's office said they needed it.
  16. Did you guys have to show two year weight history of BMI 40+? The Cigna bulletin does not state it is needed but my surgeon's office mentioned having it. I dipped below 40 in 2012 but have records from 2011 when it was 41. I called and asked Cigna and the rep told me it was not needed. Just making sure I have all of my ducks in a row. I should have a clearance letter from my surgeon, PCP, and I can get an additional 2 from my OB & Rhem. I am so nervous about getting approved!
