If you've ever looked on pinterest or subscribe to "the world according to eggface" blog there is this ricotta bake that I want to try. It's basically lasagna without the pasta. And you can add a meat sauce in top if you line.

I would love some salmon but I would settle for egg salad....guac or curry chicken salad! Mmmmm

So my all liquid phase is over tomorrow but because I haven't been getting in enough protein my nut is leery of moving me to pureed/mushy foods. I'm praying she dies though. Im so evil sometimes, I can't stand myself! Lol

I know. But I just want some chips and guac. Or some chili with sour cream and cheese....lol

And so dang evil! I can't wait to eat something! Anything!!!! 9 days post op (and 13 lbs down)and everything makes me want to vomit! Lemon zinger tea and ice cold diet snapple is all I like!! It's like my security blanket. Lol I can't be the only one going nuts right now...

It's funny, pre surgery I told very few people. My best friend was against it and the week before surgery he called me all excited because he had done more intense research and now is very supportive. Post surgery I only tell if I'm asked (I don't like to lie) and all of the responses have been positive. I say do what feels comfortable with. The bottom line is that you did this for YOU not for anyone else. And It's none of their business. If you don't need them for support they don't need to know.

NPO?? And no way in hell would I have let them put a needle in my neck! Lol but for the blood draw I git stuck in each hand and my shoulder (which is still bruised) before they were finally able to get blood from my wrist. And it was going so slow that they were scared the blood would start to clot.Smh

I'm allergic to Tylenol I'm allergic to that, adoring and ibuprofen. I have to take narcodics for pretty much everything. That's why I try not to take anything. I'm a.pain whimp too lol

This might sound weird but it worked for me When a friend you see twice a month says "have you lost weight, your booty is sticking out more!" Now I have always had a fairly big booty but the fat in all the places around it made it look smaller. Lol!

@@Bruce Peter my doc prescribed oxycodone as well but in pill form. I have to crush it. I've only taken one since I've been home. In the hospital though, I took all they gave me. They had me on a morphine pump and I could push the button every 10 minutes. The first day I did but then I slowed down after that. Got some good sleep though lol

Thanks everybody! @@mysleeve yes, I'm sore but it's not intolerable. I have had some Protein and some protein Water and water with flavor drops (I use crystal light, kool aid and hawiian punch drops, all sugar free and low to no cals). The only issue is that the Protein shakes are a bit thick so it takes 2 oz and I'm at capacity. I can drink 3-4 oz of the other stuff in an hour and I'm ok.

I was sleeved on 10 Feb and I have to say it wasn't bad at all. I did have to be pushed back because my surgeon was called into an emergency surgery right before me (I pray the patient lived). They gave me something in my IV to relax me and I remember nothing after that until the recovery room. Hardest part of it all was all the needles. It's not normal but my veins aren't normal either. The IV "infiltrated" twice so I ended up with 3 different IVs. Then after the third they came to star blood but all my good veins were jacked up from all the IVs. Smh I cried and begged them not to stick me anymore but I'd still be there if I hadn't. I'm home now and trying my best to get in my Protein. Suprisingly, nothing is disgusting so far. But I'm scared to drink because the full.feeling is the worst! I slept in a chair last night. Quite frankly my Ass hurts from sitting and laying so much (I have been walking some though) I'm dying for a shower but I'm freezing cold for some reason and the thought of being colder after the shower scares me I'm feeling better every day. Trying not to take the pain meds they prescribed but I did fill it just in case. My dad came in last night (I got home around noon yesterday) and before he said hi he says, "so how much weight have you lost"..... Lmao! It doesn't work that way dad! :lol: All in all, I'm glad I did this...so far

So my doc told me to drink 2- 10oz bottles of magnesium citrate today and clear liquids, no food or protein shakes. So what I want to know is if anybody had a hard time drinking water after the bowel prep? The MC is so freaking tart and now I want to vomit when I drink the water....even with the crystal light in it!
