How is everyone doing? I got sick the night before my surgery on the 31st so they had it postponed just got a new date of Jan 29th can't wait

It just depends on who the carrier you use. Here is nevada they have a hand full of different companies and plans you can go with. I research what each plan covered and chose one that covers it. Some did not.

I submit to ins friday. Just had my scope done today all finish, even successfully quit smoking

Haven't got date yet, but dr said for sure 1 or 2nd week of dec.. just have to quite smoking. I keep saying tomorrow and I'm gonna run outta tomorrow's lol

Ok so I called ins today to make sure I knew for sure what was required. A little worried about the weightloss part. But surprised that the esophagoscopy is not a requirement for ins

Some of the tips I've seen in other groups.. make first morning appt. do water pill and stuff the day before appt. Again I don't know if they work but have seen advice given many times of topic on other groups. Because my bmi is 40 dr worries 10 pounds would disqualify me for it

Las vegas here, Half way into my 3 months required ins. Dr Macintyre is my surgeon. So far he his awesome with a great team. Looking forward to hopefully having a Dec date How is everyone who had him doing? I noticed all these posts are from last year

I'm good ☺ going a little nuts and wish time would fly. Have 2nd appt with surgeon this Friday psych on the 21st and 2nd nut on the 31st. Will set my tummy camera appt friday with surgeon and hopefully will be submitting to ins by the 2 week of nov. Cant loose any weight which is driving me nuts because I'm at my HW ever and have NO jeans that fit. And I have days to quit smoking. I have to stop in the next 2 days for sure I just don't know how. How's are the rest of dec sleeves doing?

From other threads I am in.. I think almost every ins is different lol mines a 40+ bmi (35 if you have other medical conditions ) and a 3 month program nevada co-op here (heard bcbs is a hard one)

Haleylhs be careful with weightloss before. Ins are very different so yours may be nothing like mine. However I just saw my nut on Thursday and was told don't lose any weight until I'm approved because my ins requires 40+ bmi and I drop to 41. But again I don't know if you have any other medical conditions. Just thought I would fyi because I would have never thought about that. :-)

I agree! Can't really do anything until I see the nut on the 24th then the ball starts moving. I have called 4 times to see if anyone has canceled so I can get in sooner and will call again tomorrow lol they are gonna be so bugged by me hahaha
