NO....no word yet. STILL PENDING... I had the doctors office call the insurance company yesterday hoping we could get a rush on this and right now they are waiting on the rep to call them back....I was wanting to have the surgery next thursday...but anyway....I'm not holding my breath this time......still hopeful though!!!

I think its 80 calories per bottle and I bought 1 bottle to try from drugstore.com (I cant find them anywhere here locally.)1 bottle cost $2.99 but I think its cheaper by the case. Some places offer free shipping if you spend so much so I would just google it. I plan (if I get approved for my surgery) to buy a couple of cases. They have other flavors as well but I havent tried them. Hope this helps!!

I dont have BCBS of New Jersey but I do have BCBS and I will offer you some advice! Read your insurance companies policies on surgical management of morbid obesity. It will tell you everything you need to do and will need to get! DOCUMENTATION IS IMPORTANT!!! STAY on top of ppl do not TRUST that someone is actually doing their job!! On paper look like youre doing everything you can to lose weight but if you really want the surgery...dont lose any weight!! Good luck to you and remember the insurance company wants a lot out of you so that you will give up so dont give up!!!!!

access their information online..you should be able to view the policy guidelines and it will tell you EXACTLY what you have to do and have!!! Good luck to you...it may not be as easy as you hoped but dont give up!!!

Dang, if you all look the responses are VERY similar. So, its important for us each to realize that we're not alone out there. There is someone else who is afraid that they'll break that very same chair. I see everyone's list and it makes me want to add to mine. I've gotten so used to being "big" and have adapted my life to that that postband and postweightloss is really gonna take some getting used to "fitting in" -you know??!!! But yeah most importantly I want to be healthy. I want to live....I'm only 25 I have a LOT left to do and see!!!!! I did want to add something else to the list: There is a paint ball maze near my house. I have wanted to go to that FOREVER but have always been afraid to go because I don't want to get there and them not have a suit to fit me...HOW EMBARRASING that would be....so hopefully next summer I can go do some paintball fun!!!

What insurance do you have? BCBS recently changed it to 3 years worth of weight history. And you only have to have 1 recorded weight for each year. So if you had a physical or went to an urgent care maybe they recorded your weight!

FINALLY THINGS ARE GOING AT A SPEEDY PACE...my doctors office got the eval yesterday and FAXED it to insurance YESTERDAY I couldnt believe it!!!

OH yeah def I would love to be able to cross my legs and not have to reposition every 5 secs! And yeah planes are not made for big ppl. I have a friend who has to buy 2 seats.....it is soooo heartbreaking.

I was just wondering if anyone looks at their life preband and says If I weren't so big I would LOVE to do such and such? Here are a few things I would do IF I weren't so big: Have more sex:tt1: (sure my husband would love that) dress better Not worry about sitting in a chair and breaking it feel more comfortable in a bathing suit and not wear a tee shirt hiking and camping zip wire-where you zip over the jungle on a wire....you have to weigh under so much! not worry that ppl are looking at me when I am eating a piece of pie and thinking "she sooo does not need that, fat ass" What about everyone else?

My psych eval is DONE! The doctor was kind enough to make sure that the evaluation was in my surgeon's hands yesterday afternoon! That's everything there is nothing else for me to do. I am calling my surgeon's office around lunch to make sure that they have faxed my eval! KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!

OH YEAH Another note CALL PCP today!!!! If he/she is anything like the doctor I work for they will take forever to call you back! Be PUSHY!!! Who cares if you get on their nerves....its their job to help you!!!! When I call my doctors office I'm I am so sorry to bother you but.... (so then they feel guilty for being annoyed)!!!!

OUCH PIPPIN that sux. I am sorry that you are having such a tough time. But, unfortunately the staff at dr's offices dont understand and dont care bc its not their life. You have to really stay on top of these ppl. It seems like we're all learning this the hard way. On a brighter note my psych eval was prob the easiet thing I have had to do. I saw him today and my surgeon ALREADY has my evaluation!!! I couldnt believe it I was like wow now why cant everything else in this process be this easy!!! SO, hopefully they will fax everything tomorrow and I can finally get my approval...I HOPE I AM SOOO SCARED THAT I AM GONNA BE DENIED esp after seeing all the denials come thru lately..... I would make sure nothing is missing....they wont tell you when you call but I called everyday and they would say pending...finally I got a letter saying that they were missing some of my info. GREAT I said WHY DONT THEY TELL YOU THAT WHEN YOU CALL!!!!

Yeah the girl at the front desk says that he knows its required but that sometimes he tries to waive it....but she said they always end up having to have it....well why didnt she tell me that 2mo ago???!!!!

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH...I knew it my doctor received a letter today stating that insurance wanted a psych eval!!! I KNEW IT KNEW IT!!! GREAT...So I asked does that mean I am approved if I have this done...they couldnt say because my records werent complete...great so here I go gonna spend $325 more on this whole process!!!! And still am not garanteed an approval!!!
