  1. I am having surgery on Seot, 16th and it will be the robotics procedure.
  2. I am 66 and look forward to talking with other who are older.
  3. I had been diagnsed 10 years ago but never use the machine. My doctor would not do the surgery without me being CPAC machine. I got on the machine only two weeks ago. It has not impacted my surgery date. My son's doctor told him they would cancel the surgery if he showed up without the CPAC.
  4. I have Humana Medicare. I only had to wait about 10 days.

  6. I am 66 as well. I am schedule for surgey for Sept. 16. I know there is risk - but my view is thee is significant risk with being overweight. I have prepare by getting my will updated, my power of attorney, my health care power of attorney, etc. As to other less than mortal outcomes. Carrying around this excess weight brings its own set of mortality risks. I am not a pro - but I am in the exact position as you and I have decided that the potential benefit it is work the the extremely small risk

Hello everyone, I did a lot of research, I decided on the gastric bypass, primarily because I had a significant amount of weight to lose (200 lbs), I have a number of obesity related conditions and my age. At 66, it seem to gastric by pass provided significant weight loss and lower risk than the duodenal switch. I am scheduled for surgey Sept. 16.
