  1. How soon after surgery did you start taking whole pills instead of crushed or liquid?
  2. Gas x strip s helped me. Not many just like one before church or before my follow up appointment. Three weeks out today and all I have is the gurgles after eatin or drinking when its going down. No more belly noises.
  3. What about spinach, I never ate lettuce fire salsa much, spinach is the best, anyone try it yet? How far out?

  8. I got orange because it was on sale. Swore that I would make myself drink it even if I hated it. Well I couldn't drink it when I got home from surgery it was horrible, so horrible that I can't even bring myself to try it again.
  9. I hear it stops around month 3 to 4. I'm worried about it too but happy about all the other benefits of the surgery.
  10. Hey all 1/15 ers! How is everyone? I did my checkup yesterday and yes I've only lost 8 lbs, but I'm optimistic and should be off BP medication next week! No more prescriptions for me!
  11. I was on spironolactone for fluid but never knew it was supposed to help with the hair issues.my surgeon asked me to quit taking it after surgery because of dehydration.
  12. I was on spironolactone prior to surgery for fluid retention. But surgeon asked me to stop taking it after surgery Jan 16th.i had no clue it helped with facial hair and baldness? ??????
  13. I think some of us just need some reassurance that the weight WILL come off.
  14. Don't feel that way. Many of us on here had delays, cancelations etc but everything eventually turned out fine. Like me, I had to wait 4 months for surgery after being approved.
  15. I was 311 to start 280 surgery and 274.5 now. I'm freaking out a little. I do not weigh every day.if my jeans were not baggy in me now like they are, I would be really going nuts!
  16. I'm not losing now either in actually back up 2.5 pounds and have been there since like Saturday or Sunday : (

  18. I'm stalling too, ok this is my theory for myself, since I was on a two week liquid diet, wouldn't that make my first post op week kinda like the the week stall? I hope, cuz i am trying not to get discouraged

  20. Nectar crystal sky sure is helping me! It's not like having the other vanilla chocolate etc, kinda tastes like my blue powerade zero. Just an fyi. So I think im gonna get the lemonade and I think there may be a watermelon.

  23. Enchilada was made with chopped chicken sour cream cream soup, I think that's all I didn't make them but I just pureed what was inside
  24. pureed stage, anything acceptable pureed, I had my homemade chili with sour cream pureed today
  25. At hospital 6 am, taken back about 15 minutes, was in a small room for urine, iv, etc, for about 30 minutes, then taken to pre-op, then talked with nurses, surgeon, anesthesia, then he knocked me out, I was in a room in about 2.5 hours.
