  1. The fist few days of soft and puree I tried a scrambled egg with cheese then pintos and cheese from taco bell that night. I had no problems. I was able to eat almost one egg and most of the beans that night.
  2. Jstrong I leave home at 545am and return at about 545 pm. Before surgery I joined a gym near my vanpool location and I just o straight there and do the workout. I hate exercising but find I like the way feel afterwards. I am 4 weeks out and haven't started back yet but I feel ready. I will get the ok from my doctor next week. We have to do it for ourselves.

  5. I am four weeks out an still having trouble with constipation as well. My doc said to use milk of magnesia. It works but almost too well. I want to try prune juice too.
  6. Susan I use the Carabas recipe for lentils and sausage soup then bled it. Dont e the hot Italian sausage at this point. It taste awesome. I didn't have to blend it but it's great that wat too. Use chicken broth instead of the meat for the rich flavor.

  8. yeah I sometimes wonder if I got a fat sleeve Because I have no issues, lol. My doctor said I just healed well :-). How much weight do you want to lose? I dont see your stats.
  9. I ask my doctor about this because it's seeing so many people have trouble getting in even small sips. I was concerned maybe they really didn't sleeve me, lol. He said those folks have more swelling inside their sleeve. I didnt, thank goodness and things have gone smoothly for me. I have been able to get all my protein and liquids in since day 4 or 5.
  10. Trvgrl, its quite normal. By two weeks post op, I could drink a few normal sips together with no issues.

  17. Vitamins can also upset your stomach. I was told to take my multi vitamins day two after surgery.
  18. Tired You are way too funny! I fuess we all have to get used to some sound effects now, lol.
  19. Elturner I was sleeved on the 7th as well and haven't loss a great deal either. Im just trying to stay positive because I know im following the rules and that we all lose differently. It seems most people have lost in there first week what I lost in 3 weeks. We will support each other and keep moving ahead ok? Are you going to the bathroom like you should? And not getting too much sodium? Those broths and creamed soups can be very high in sodium and make you retain fluid. Hang in there.:-)
  20. Slareau, I love the champion chocolate brownie protein powder from vitamin world and the vanilla unjury powder. Both have 22 grams of protein the add milk to make it 30.
