I am taking Opurity from Unjury. One a day is all u need and the bottle lasts 3 months. Sounds like you are doing well. I am 4 1/2 weeks post op and i still cant srand the taste of plain water. I have to add crystal light.

I was off work 2 1/2 weeks. I think that was just right for me. Today was my first day back and I was not tired at all and felt good all day.

Congrats to u! I heard gummies are not a good choice. I ordered Opurity chewables from Unjury. They should b in soon. I have been drinking Premier Protein Shakes. I get mine from Sams. Im only two weeks out and mine is not feeling as firm n plump as it used to. Its a bit soft. I plan to get on the eliptical next week. ????

Hdd55146 I just had my VSG on 12/10 in Tijuana, MX by Dr. E. Ortiz with A Lighter Me. It was amazing. No complications, vomiting, nausea, and most of all no regrets. I will say depending on the distance you will be traveling the return flights were extremely exhausting. So pack light. I did and still only used about half of what I packed. Walk walk walk and bring a heating pad. It really helped with gas pains in my back.

I just got home from my surgey with Dr. E Ortiz which was 12/10. No pain. Just gas. I am so pleased!

I have 16 more days til my VSG in Mexico with Dr. Elias Ortiz. I am beyond excited! I took some time today to really dig deep and think of some non-scale victories. I think they are so beneficial because for my this journey is more than the number on the scale. Its about how I want to feel and the woman I want to be again. Im 31 yrs old and I feel as though I have lost years of my life yoyo dieting. I think a list of NSV's if not only motivating while losing but especially when maintaining so I can remind myself why i dont wanna go backwards. I had a coworker tell me that I dont need to have the surgery and I was highly offended. She is much smaller than me and has never battled with her weight. She does not know my stryggle and will never understand. Anywho... such is life... I'm sharing mine and I would love to read yours.

Pushed mine up to 12/10!

Great tips bobbyswife! Only thing I have been doing so far is rubbing down daily with coconut oil and taking gelatin capsules to help with skin elasticity...fingers crossed. I have been using an egg and oils as a preshampoo hair mask every other week to increase protein in my hair. I did look up genepro. Anyone tried it? I know we should use whey isolate instead of the other casein blends. I was leaning towards ordering Unjury unflavored. I am also planning to order their Opurity vitamins because i wld only need one a day. Anyone concerned about wound after care? Do we use gauze or just large square bandaids? I read warm soapy water is best and nothing else.

I am going thru A Lighter Me with Dr Elias Ortiz and I want my post op instructions so I can prepare. Any idea when I can expect to receive that info? I am scheduled for second week of December. I was told by my patient coordinator that it will be sent to me a few weeks before surgery. I know its 6.5 weeks away but I would like to get familiar with it and plan. If anyone who used A Lighter Me would please weigh in. Thx

I am about 8 weeks away from my surgery in Mexico and its all I can think about. I dont know about you guys but I never get bored seeing progress pics. Wow us with your inspirational pics of your progress on your weight loss surgery journey!!!!!
