  15. Hello, I just started this roller coaster ride in June. I'm 51 with a BMI of 50. I've had my psych, nutrition, and a trip to a cardiologist for a cardiac clearance. I don't have any heart problems, but he wants to an echo on October 1st before he clears me for surgery. My next appt after clearance will be the tummy scope to ensure I'm eligible for laparoscopic surgery. Then hopefully I'll get a surgery date this year. I'm not looking forward to a surgery so close to the holidays but I'm wanting to be healthy. I just need to remember this is in Gods timing not mine. Wishing you all good luck and blessings on your journey to a more healthy and beautiful you.
  16. Oh em geee!! I've never seen anything like this. Good luck. Very good camera btw...lol
  17. The silver lining is it was just the medication and not anything serious. Your day will be here before you know it! Good luck!
  18. I found "New Whey" it's 4oz liquid with 0 sugar, fat, carbs, etc. has 42 grams per serving but it taste awful. I haven't tried to add anything to make it taste better but after surgery I'm thinking it would be better to get 4 oz down with 42 grams of protein. I bought it at wal mart. Has anyone else tried it?
  19. I haven't received the list but I googled "High Protein Food List" I found a treasure trove of info and created my own excel list
  20. Please send me a copy too g.rhonda99@yahoo.com Thanks
  21. I'm so happy for you and a little envious at the same time. I've been on a roller coaster ride of appointments for one thing or another since June. I haven't got a surgery date yet...hopefully it'll be this year. My surgery will be here in California. I can't wait to become a loser...lol. The ten day pre op liquid diet scares me a little, but it's going to be worth it. Good luck on your new journey!
  22. I'm a newbie to this site and haven't had the surgery yet, don't even have a date set. I'm finding myself on a roller coaster of emotions about the whole thing. How are you doing post op? This part seems so scary to me!! I'm in Marysville BTW.
