  1. I'm just going to pay off debts I have which isnt much.. I dont think this rebate money going to help that much cause not much else changed... we still paying higher gas price, higher food price, higher bills and the SAME SALARY..... so how you suppose to spend more money when everything so expensive? People got lesser money to spend now and what that does is make people more less likely to go out and spend on stuff and tighten belt. anyways this a lapband site... sorry ;p
  2. ok... I went out and got some size 38 pants.... I used to be size 44 (tight sometimes). I got home and took them and looked at them.. "hmm they look kinda small... owell i can always save them till i fit" so... I said hell with it and tried them on and.......THEY FIT@@#$ and little loose (not having to hold stomach in to wear ;p) so.. i have wore size 38 since forever... omg i feel good... gotta loose more ;p lol i want 32@#$
  3. So... I was checking online and though this would be some good information... when am I getting tax rebate Stimulus Payment Schedule for Tax Returns Processed by April 15 I know it not Lapband related...
  4. It best to atleast be on full protein drink diet by the time you have surgery cause after surgery you gotta be on liquid diet. Not sure for most people but for me i started diet before surgery and got the withdrawl, bad mood, headaches, and so on... out of the way
  5. made darn mistake in poll... lol 4month progress... guess poll should be taken at end of month.... So... my mini goal for the 4th month (April) will try to loose atleast 15pounds and I know this is a big number again but I gotta atleast try. If I loose anything and keep it off then it still awesome. I'll be placing my weight in at 233.. I got 1 month. I also understand my body will plateau soon so I gotta mix it up.
  6. This is just a run off of Funny (Fanny) Adams 2 month status but I wanted to add like a mini goal. You can add if you want or not. What is everyone progress? (click on poll above)
  7. Ya I'm excited cause i'll soon be at 220's which I havent seen since 1997 and I think I might try to fit into a size 38 or smaller cause these new 40 is very loose, I can put a whole fist between stomach and pants ;p hmmm... maybe startup 4 month link lol
  8. I was on elliptical this morning and did 60minute and the darn machine kicked me off...lol but only burn 845cal. I think if you run it on default it will only do 60min (actually was 58min and 2min cool down) then it shut off. I usually do 35min elliptical and then 30min treadmill but I wasnt that tired today and I also had a good view Ceradad: one of these days ill catch up to you... lol
  9. I really want to get myself down to 220-225 by the end of APRIL... I know what I gotta do... so i gotta push myself. Gotta get atleast 20-25 hour of gym time for April.
  10. For me the first couple days when starting the protein diet... it put me in a bad mood and also had headaches couples into the diet. I think what worked for me was that I modifed the diet slightly... First couple days I would for morning/lunch I would drink the protein drink and then for dinner I would eat a protein food only... like 1 chicken or 1/2 cup of meat product or tuna. This way my body would get used to the protein and also get used to the small amount of food change I have done.. Then after couple days I start cutting the dinner part into like 1/2 the amount and include protein drink. Then after another couple more days of that diet I would move to a all protein drink. Anyways whatever work for you... you just need to find the right combo and for me just jumping into a diet never worked. Good luck
  11. You may want to follow the Couch to 5K plan provided in a thread earlier... It breaks down each week on how long to run and jog and walk... It seem like alota people have been doing good with this type of plan and you can always slightly modify it to your body or endurance. I been at it for month and half and getting in good long jogging strides and soon enough im sure i can do whole 5k with no walking... ;p good luck
  12. well... for me... my gym scale is off couple pounds and I think my digital scale at home is close to doctors.. lol I weight in morning time before doctor and drove right over and got doctor to weight on fill day and it was like 1 pound difference ;p either way i'm sure you can get the weight off... after the weight comes off fast, the weight after that is the hardest and takes the longest. That fat been there for years and it not giving up without a fight
  13. wow big congrats... hope its right.
  14. My doctor had little problem removing some fluid but he kept at it by pushing that darn neddle down hard to make sure it all the way in.. He was finally able to get it out but it hurt... ;( I'm at a good restriction now... I hope your sister is all right... maybe the nurse not experienced enough to fill up the port? Hope she have better luck next time she go in.. good luck
  15. April 3rd coming up soon so... my 3rd month will be up and I dont think ill be loosing that 20pounds lol.... Atleast I tried. I lost about 12 pounds est... but ill re-weight myself on Apr 3rd and see my actual lost. I hope to loose another 10-15pound next month... but I better keep up with my excerise and eating good... but looking at my Bodybugg nutrient list... I cheat on Sundays... lol gotta quit that. Hope everyone else is keeping up with the good work and loosing all that weight... good luck ;p
