I'm in my 7th week post-op. What did your guidlines recommend your daily carb/protein/fat %'s to be at this point? I was told 60-80 grams of Protein but I wanna set my carb and fat % goals in MFP too.

i was ready after 2 weeks but the minimum time required by my doc is 4 weeks. i'm finally going back monday!!!! ????????????????

I'm rith there with you! Sleeved on 9/15 and won't hop on a scale till my post-op appt 10/1. One reason - I've never found two scales that were the same. I wanna do my first post-op weigh in on the same scale I did my final pre-op weigh in. Then my next weigh-in will be when I return to work (i work in a hospital) and will do my monthly weigh-ins on the same scale every time. Maybe weekly...but as of right now, I'm set on the 15th of every month:).

I'm all checked-in and ready to take a "nap" (around 12:30'ish) and dream I'm in Oahu! Thank God I woke up this morning excited and not scared! I'm beyond ready! (Twitter: @elaraye)

i prefer homemade chicken broth over store-bought. i season it the way i like it. and i learned today that my tastebuds do NOT like store-bought beef broth! Yuck!

I'm on day one and I'm doing fine. I've had 2 cups of arroz caldo (chicken and rice soup) - minus the arroz and caldo. lol

Tomorrow I start my 2-day pre-op clear liquid diet. Hi Alexsis! I'm getting sleeved 9/15 and am an October baby too! I'll be 36 on 10/23. My big worry is the surgery itself. I've never been "put under." Blessings to you on your journey:).

@@lishen i had my preop on Wednesday, and my surgery is Monday. my instructions are clear liquids two days prior. best of luck to you.

I was worried for a while because of an "abnormal EKG" which required a stress echocardiogram to be done, which I did today and passed with flying colors! My pre-op is tomorrow and I'm getting sleeved on Monday (9/15). I'm so excited and nervous and relieved and freaked out!!!!! While sampling different Protein drinks/shakes I found out that I'm allergic to whey / whey isolate. anyone out there on the same boat? I need recommendations.....

Thanks Kindle. There's soooooo much out there! I'm lookin to find out what others have tried and like. Not that my taste preference will match...I just don't know where to start because there are too many options. Aaaahhhhh!!!! LoL
