Anyone on here going to the OCC for surgery. My appt is the 17th.. I am coming from Canada AB.

Just wondering if there are any Edmonton or even Albertans out there getting or have the sleeve on.. Looking for people to ask questions and to also go through the process with. Hit me up!

lol yes you are! Haha.. How come your not bringing a companion? I am trying to find one but unsure.. Your not scared of goin alone?? Have you traveled lots out of country? Do they only do the sleeve on certain days do ya know? I messaged the hospital but haven't heard back yet

Ok so I am trying to decide on when to have my sleeve surgery...do I do it now or wait for the new year. SOOOO....how was your healing process?? Like I am 5'4 and weigh. So I assume the heavier you start the longer the healing process..Also what was it like afterwards..back at home. I am a companion to a gentleman with developmental delays..No heavy work..just some driving here and there..and visiting..Anyone on here from Edmonton Alberta??

Thanks for your response Jenn.. I am waiting because I am paying out of pocket. So I want to make sure my funds are good and ready. I also need to make sure my client has coverage for when I am unable to be with him. Does everyone bring someone with them? That is also something I would need to figure out. Who can and will come with me.
