  4. I was sleeved 8/26. I feel better every day. I've lost about 10 pounds since surgery. Working on getting my stamina back. We're in the middle of moving this next week so it would be great to have more energy but I will try not to over do it!
  5. I was sent home on a daily dose of Miralax. I dint have to take it anymore but I think that's why I didn't have any issues. You mix the Miralax with any fluid and it doesn't have a flavor so pretty easy to get down. I hope you find relief soon. There's nothing worse than post-op constipation.

  7. Hi All: I am also 4 days post op. I got to go home on Thursday but it's been a rough go. @@Jz0917, I also had an umbilical hernia that was repaired and that's what has caused the most issues for me. I've been able to get in enough Fluid but Protein has been more challenging. I hardly have any pain from my other incisions but the umbilical one is the ouchy site. Today has been my best day so far, yesterday was the worst. I was having buyers remorse but today I feel better and I think it's going to be ok.

  9. Hi, This is my very first post. I've been a nurse for 32 years. I've done a bit of everything, MICU, ID, apheresis, neonatal ICU and currently I'm working in the reconstructive surgery clinic at a breast cancer center. I was sleeved Tuesday, August 26. I'm just 3 days out. I'm struggling to get in any protein. I have nausea and stomach cramping. I guess I just need to hear from someone that it gets better. I'm able to drink water and herbal tea and a little bit of protein. I'm just really concentrating on fluids so I stay hydrated. Any encouragement would be appreciated.
