I just made the decision to have the sleeve done. I haven't been to any drs. yet. What should be my first step? I read all the info on the Christ Hospital website about Dr. Curry and I'm ready to get the ball rolling. Any help would be great. Congratulations on your successful surgeries.

I live near Wilmington and go to Dayton every week. I am just starting to think about having this surgery done. I would love to talk to people who are going through or have already been through all of this. Where should I start? Who are the best surgeons in the Cincinnati/Dayton area for the VSG? Do any of you have Cigna? How was the insurance approval like with them? Those are the types of questions I have.

Does anyone have any experience with Cigna Insurance? That's who I have and I don't know what their policy is on this subject yet. I just started thinking about getting this done 2 days ago.

Hi I'm new here. I am trying to research everything before I even go to a Dr. How long is the recovery time for the sleeve? I want to get WLS done, but I don't want to be off work for a really long time. Also, I've only had one surgery in my life, tubal ligation, which was extremely painful for a couple weeks. How painful is the sleeve surgery post-op? Thank you for any help you can give.
