  1. HI all. I get banded this Monday, July 7 by Dr. Edwards. It took me 6 months to be finally approved by insurance. I will also have my gall bladder removed at the same time. I'm a male, 54, with a lot of comorbidites. I'm anxious to get the surgery behind me and live longer.
  2. Cinnie, where in Mexico were you banded?
  3. co-morbidities are: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high trigs, depression, pre-diabetic, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis. Whew, did I leave out some?
  4. I'm working with Mary over at Dr. Edwards' office on an appointment and approval from my insurance company. I'm anxious to get the surgery and start losing weight. I have a lot of co-morbidities. I'm 54, 275 lbs, BMI is 42. I went to the seminar three weeks ago.
  5. I believe the healthy weight supermarket is on Republic Road, just west of Fremont (southside of road). Glad to see you are going for it. I attended a Dr. Edwards seminar Monday night and got pumped up. Checking to see if insurance will cover everything right now!
  6. Could anybody tell me what the tab was for the entire lap band surgery at St. John's in Springfield? I'm wondering since there is a good chance my insurance carrier won't cover the cost! Thanks, Springfield "MO":help:
