  1. Thank you for the advice! I'm going to check out the website right now
  2. Does anyone else have a problem drinking protein shakes? Within minutes of taking even a couple small sips of a protein shake, regardless of brand, I'm nauseated and my stomach gurgles and churns for hours. It wasn't like this before surgery...I could drink them with no problems. Since protein shakes are one of the best ways to get my protein in, I'm severely lacking meeting that need other ways. I've been getting only 20 - 30 grams of protein a day without the protein shakes.
  3. Sorry that you didn't feel well. I hate feeling poorly. But thank you for the memo to self....I will remember not to eat dry food!
  4. I'm doing so much better today. Thank you for checking! I've been hungry today for the first time since surgery, so that is definitely a good thing :-)
  5. I'm doing so much better, thank you! I've been quite hungry today, for the first time since surgery. I eat about 2 ounces of food maybe 5 times a day. But I'm so thankful to be feeling better :-)
  6. Thank you! I did call my doctor today, and was able to get some medication that is already starting to help. :-)
  7. Just had RNY on Aug 18. Can't eat enough protein and what little I do get doesn't stay in! I can't stay out of the bathroom. I start running within 5 minutes of eating and then keep running every 5-10 minutes. I can't even sleep through the night without getting up to run to the bathroom several times. Anyone else have this problem? How long does it last? Anything I can do?
