  1. The drs told me before surgery that there would be shoulder pain for awhile caused by the gas that they use to blow your body up. It moves everything around......and I still have some pain after 1 month. BUT......didn't think that would still be an issue after so many months...so maybe this isn't related to the left shoulder pain so many months after?
  2. I want to win this battle, and I am sure it will always be a battle!
  3. Ok so this all scares me... that we can go through the whole journey of surgery and then still find ways to gain the weight back:confused:. I'm only 3 1/2 weeks into this and find that starting on soft foods sure has made a difference. With the liquid diet it was about a pound a day loss. Now it's not! Scares me to eat anything. I don't want to cheat.....I don't want to find ways to gain back anything. I just want to get some of this weight off and feel good.....have energy again. Hopefully it will happen and I won't fall victim to myself and food! By the way try Henry Ford in Detroit for fills,Port Huron Lapband in Port Huron, Hurley in Flint, and Oakwood in Dearborn.
  4. I was just banded Oct 19,2007. They told me when I left the hospital that something like cup a soup is ok to use. As long as you mix powder with extra water and strain chunks ok it is still considered clear liquid. Don't know how your Drs feel but this is alot better tasting that broth.
