  1. I am at the same point as you are. I go back to see my Dr. and the nutritionist this Thursday. I did what they told me to do this month, which was two protein shakes, and one small meal with a lot of protein. I have followed this to the tee and I got on my scale this morning and burst into tears, I was up another 4 lbs. I do believe that my caloric intake is to small, but I do have trouble with the band. Some days things go down easy other day's nothing goes down, not even my water. I have been through another upper GI, and the band is looking really good. My doctor has been rated as one of the top in this field, and he told me that he has had only two other patients that have had the same problem I am having. If I cannot get on the weight loss again they are going to do Gastric by-pass. AAAAHHHH!!!!! I am going to try and eat more to get my calories up and see if this helps. Good luck to you!
  2. Holy Crap! I justfinished two days of stomach flu and with my head in the trash can and my butt on the toilet I forgot abot the nausea tablets. It was interesting trying to get a volcanic eruption to come out a small hole. I feel okay but I have a call into the doctors office. Jackie
  3. If you have a Costco near you, get the drink called "protein" It has 30 gms of protein and you will feel a lot better. I also use the Slim Fast Low Carb drink which has 15 gms. of Protrein. Four pounds is good. Just remember that it is four pounds down and not four pounds up. You are doing fine. I was baned April 10 and have lost 30 lbs.
  4. Hi, I am 3 days post surgery, and besides feeling like a mule has kicked my gut, I am doing pretty good. I listened to a lot of women the week before surgery and some had lossed a lot right after and some only a few ponds. My point to them and everyone else, YOU ARE LOOSING AND NOT GOING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! This is a life changing process, but with support we will all make it.
  5. My name is Jackie and I had my band done this past Thursday by Dr. Douglas Krahn from St. Bernardines Hospital. Still really sore, but I am home now to start the journey.
