  2. I've gained about 10 pounds from a med I've had to take and I just decided to read up on what I'm 'supposed' to be eating as an RNY patient, since I just pretty much eat what I feel like, when I feel like it. I've decided to go high protein/low carb and fat and I just eat boneless/skinless chicken breasts cooked with sliced bell peppers and onions in smaller amounts (about 3/4 cup) several times a day. In 2 days, I'm down 3 pounds! I've been looking up more bariatric recipes too and I'm going to stay away from Pasta, bread, and anything high fat. I've never really been able to handle breaded/fried foods since my surgery, so those won't be a problem, it's just that when you're trying to find something quick to eat, it's HARD to find healthy too...or just something that I actually WANT.
  3. I'd like it if we could have a St. Charles County group, since the St. Louis groups are always too far away. I had RNY done in 2009 at DePaul. I went from 277 down to 147. I've been as low as 127, but I'm back at 147-150 right now and I'm trying to get back down to the 140 mark.
