  1. I'm having surgery (Single Incision Sleeve Gastrectomy) with him in December. I hope you will share your experience with him, his staff, and Mi Doctor Hospital. Best wishes!
  2. Hi Lalaj, My insurance won't cover for me, so I'm self paying and having it done in Mexico. If you haven't already, you should check it out. I'm having it done via a single incision through the belly button, so less scarring and faster recovery. Good luck to you!
  3. Hi Cody's mom, Thank you for your post. I actually am already scheduled for the procedure with Dr. Lopez in TJ, and was hoping to hear from anyone who actually had that procedure with him, or another doctor down there.
  4. I just saw that you had it done in Houston. Thank you for sharing Krystal.
  5. Thank you for your reply, Krystal. By any chance, did you have it done by alejandro lopez in Mexico?
  6. I am scheduled with alejandro lopez in December in Tijuana and want to hear others experiences. I like the idea of not having to have all of the extra scars from the traditional method. Thanks!
  7. Really???No one out there has had the Single Incision Sleeve Gastrectomy???
  8. I am scheduling for single sleeve gastrectomy with Dr. alejandro lopez in Tijuana through MexicoBariatrics and would appreciate hearing from anyone else who has had this surgery with him. Thanks!
  9. I am pre-op, and have told only a 2 family members and 3 close friends. I have decided it is best not to tell people at work, but am concerned about having a good "cover" for my 3 week absence, and soft food diet upon return. Any suggestions for a good plausible story? I don't want anyone to think I'm seriously ill or anything.
  10. I am scheduled for December, but just learned about this new technique that allows for less scarring on the abdomen. I saw there is this "Spider" laparoscopic tool that makes it possible and safe to perform. There is a Dr. Yu in the U.S. Who apparently has done a great number with great results. Looking for a good surgeon in Mexico if anyone can share.
  11. I'm scheduled with him later this year, and was very impressed with the credentials of the physicians, clinicians, and hospital, but would also like to hear patient feedback about him. Anyone???
