  1. It took me a good month and a half to feel better. Just give it time.
  2. Anyone having this? My doctor has no idea. I'm 3 months post op. I'm having severe cramping sometimes associated with vomiting. It seems to happen everytime I have stool in my colon, about every two-three days. It is always always in the morning and I can't associate with any food I eat. I have irritable bowel syndrome. My biggest fear is this is my life now. I have had my gall bladder checked and it's fine.

  4. I had the same stall. I read that if you aren't getting enough fluids your body will store everything. So drink enough. Yesterday I didn't get enough, peed twice the whole day and have a super migraine this morning. But, once I started walking, at least, a mile a day I started losing again.
  5. I know your pain!! It was the worst for me. The incisions weren't as uncomfortable as the bloating. The Mylanta gas worked well for the stomach bloating but not much for intestines. Walking moved things along but time worked the best. A little heat on the stomach and patience. It sucks!
  6. Thank you for all you replies!!! I found out I have a lateral herniation of my thoracic vertebrae. It was referred pain from that. My back has always bothered me and got inflamed more when I was recovering. Now just supportive chairs and time will make things better.
  7. I'm already 8 days out so the residual air is gone and I have been in constant contact with my doc. I have 2 kids under 3, I have no choice but to be walking ????
  8. It does feel like the worst gas pain I've ever had but it isn't related to gas. I did 2 doses of milk of magnesia and it was unchanged the entire time.
  9. I'm 8 days post op and I have been having severe left sided pain that moves from my ribs to my hip bone. I've been to the ER after a ct scan and blood work they can't find a problem. I'm not constipated and I'm not over eating since I have to force myself to eat and drink during the day. Please tell me someone has had this and it will go away!
