I must admit these past eight days have been torture I haven't been able to even polywater without feeling sharp pains in my stomach. But today I feel like a brand-new person I'm telling you my stomach is growling too! (I am desperate for food).

    6 Days Post Op

Boy oh boy did I really need to hear from you. I'm telling you I swear I have been having feelings of regret since about postop day three I can't believe that we have such a similar story ! I definitely will keep in contact with you and I hope your journey gets easier too!
  4. So tomorrow marks one week since my surgery. I had the gastric sleeve done on last Thursday, July 24. I also had to have my gallbladder removed. The recovery has been horrible. I was released from the hospital on Saturday and three hours later had to go right back because of the pain. I wasn't expecting this to Be but in no way did I feel it would be this difficult. A coworker of mine had her sleeve done on July 11 and was back to work 10 days later. My doctor says that the reason I can't drink anything normally (post gastric sleeve normal )is because my sleeve is tight and there is a lot of swelling. I know I'm not hungry but my brain is telling me I want food! In the fact that it feels like someone is stabbing me when I take a sip of even water is making things all the more worse! I just hope this gets better I can't even think about how good I'm going to look, although I've already lost 23 pounds since I decided to get the surgery!........ I'm just miserable and needed to vent!
