My Doctor has faxed over the scripts & am waiting to hear from Insure to see what my Insurance says!!!Fingers crossed & prayers being said..

I am also waiting for my date.. I do know it will be in 3 months though. I am a fast eater , always have been. So what I do is have a 'egg' timer & take it with me, I leave my food in the kitchen, then go to the bdrm, get back online & when timer goes off, I go back to kitchen & take another bite. As for the drinking, that is very hard not to do! But what I do is put my water in the freezer, so that when it is time for me to drink something it is 'slushy' which i like very much.. hope this helps you..

cool... I dont know yet if my insurance is gonna pay for the stuff from Insure yet......would you mind very much getting the info, from your nutritionist, so IF I need to I can apply with them?

BUT you do NOT have to get the scar cream.. I am just gonna use vitamin "E" oil on the scar.. I've done that my whole life & have NO scars

I truly hope he does too.. Help him & educate him on what you can have & how you have to eat before & after the surgery.. My sister is my supporter, & she has kept me on track every step of the way.. (to be honest, I think she likes telling her older sis "NO! you cannot have that)..lol

How much weight are we suppose to lose before the surgery?

I have sleep apnea, been on c-pap for 5 yrs,. Had another study done a month ago & it seems I should have been on a Bi-Pap machine all this time.. They said it was a wonder I hadn't died in my sleep! On the new machine now, but having surgery in 3 months, after that shouldn't need it..

I applied 2 weeks ago, the fax for the scripts has been sent to me Doctor.. I am calling him back on Monday to make sure he wrote & faxed the scripts to them.. I am on SSI & Medi-Cal....Praying they will cover it..

How long before surgery did you start taking them?

How long does it usually take to heal from "open bipass" surgery? When do you start taking the Vitamins? Before surgery ? & if so how long before surgery? Has anyone here used "Bariatric Fusion" instead of all the different vitamins?
