I am having my surgery December 30th also . I was not required to do the liquid diet . Sorry you are having such a rough time .

@@Bell1980 feel better they say everyday you get a little better.

Well I had 2 glasses of wine last night and woke up with an awful headache this morning , so i guess it wasn't worth it after all. Now that that's out of my system I am going to try and eat lighter and drink plenty of Water until my surgery on Tuesday . I am getting so nervous now waking up from the surgery is what scares me the most.

Merry Christmas everyone ! 5 days until surgery I am not required to do a liquid diet so i am considering myself lucky . I wish i could have a glass of wine tonight for Christmas though I am not sure if thats allowed :[

I went for my final visit with the surgeon before my surgery on 12/30 . I was given my scripts and my appointments for after surgery . The surgeon explained everything that would happen the day of surgery in great detail. I bought all my Vitamins and purchased my Proteins and hopefully everything else I need for when I come home from the hospital . I have never been so excited or scared about something in my whole life then this surgery. I know in my heart I have made the right decision .

I am having my surgery the same day , but not with the sam doctor as you . I am beyond nervous too !

I Have my pre surgical appointment with the surgeon on Friday then December 16th is my pre op education class and December 17th is pre surgical testing . I am too excited to even concentrate on Christmas shopping right now , I havent bought one gift yet. I better get my butt moving !!!

I think starting a private group is a great idea . It's really nice to have such supportive people to go through this with .

I went out today and bought all the vitamins , gas x strips , Biotine mouth moisturizer for the hospital and premiere protein shakes from Costco I agree with you the companies should send samples . I priced the Isopure protein powders today in te Vitamin Shoppe they were $50.00 !! What if you don't like them ?

My surgery is scheduled for December 30th. I can't wait !

I have to admit losing the girls is a big one for me , its my biggest fear ! Well, That and loosing my hair . You look wonderful by the way .

Congrats !!I was approved today and my surgery date is December 30th . I am so excited and nervous !

Thank you everyone . I came home from work to a voicemail from the doctors office I have a Date!!! December 30th. Now I am nervous.

The director of my WLS office just called me to ask would I like to have my surgery done before or after Christmas . I couldn't believe it !!I had my last visit with my NUT for my supervised diet history on December 2nd . That was less then a week ago I thought the insurance clearance would take longer . I have Empire Plan BCBS of NY . I am so happy that I started to cry . It's been a long 6 months trying to get all the tests and clearances done . I can't wait to be in the other side of the losers bench !
