  8. Update - home today - seems I am not having any trouble getting fluids in- however too much milk of magnesia at the hospital has given my the runs... So once I work past that I will update everyone! Sent from my iPad using BariatricPal

  15. Suggested I stay an extra night and also the possibility of sending social worker to my house to give me IV fluids for 5 days post-op. Since I am well aware of my condition I think I will be more focused on getting the Water in - but from what I have been reading - it seems to be tough to do for some...   20. I too am doing this alone too - 63 and a widow. My surgery is the 22nd. On day 8 of liquid diet. My concern is I have one kidney and am afraid I won't get enough Water... I did get the pill crusher - picked meds up already but still need the small blender. I bought an electric chair too for a prior surgery and it was a lifesaver when alone!!
