  1. I do not understand it.. I do not get cravings. Where live there are Candy and cookie machines and Pop machines everywhere. I do love fruits and veggies. I don't eat breads or carbs. The only time I eat any carbs of any kind is with the veggies. June 9th I had my surgery. Now maybe I am still new to this all. But I have been a food addict all my life. If I give into cravings. My addictions win. I had started Overeaters Anonymous before my surgery. And now it is helping afterwards. I know of a few people that have had this type of surgery and have done wonders for years. I also know people that have had it. Lost weight, then ballooned up again and gave up. I personally need more help then what I get from online. Or from the once a month support groups. Overeaters Anonymous has assisted me in keeping me away from binging every time I am happy or sad. Or it is Groundhogs day. Or Christmas. This is 1 fight I will win. 1 day at a time.
  2. I have lost 70 pounds. I have 160 pounds my goal of 210 pounds. I also go to Overeaters Anonymous. I have a food plan and I do not waiver from it. Maybe because I am a newbie. Or maybe because I know my limitations. No Junk Food!
  3. I have kept to the diet described in my Surgery Bible. I do not eat anything that my nutritionist says is objectionable. I know me. If I start binging on foods that are sorta on the list of bad things. I will explode! I know of 1 person that lives in my building that had the same surgery. He lost some weight. But started eating all the same FAT and SUGAR stuff he ate before. That is not for me! I have a long journey before I am through. I will not eat pizza. I will not eat Junk food. I am a FOOD ADDICT. If I start down that road, The Gremlins in my head will tell me SURE IT IS OK. Eat what you want. Your tummy is all shrunk up. No problem. BULLCRAP! I have to not give in to my cravings. now Addictions. I have been Sober from Alcohol for over 24 years. I had just switched Addictions from Alcohol to Food. I had to learn how not to drink 1 day at a time. I am learning how not to Eat as an Addict. This to me is a WAR that I aim to win! 1 meal at a time!

June 9th 2014 is my surgery date. I lost 70 pounds in 5 weeks. I am more then 5 weeks out from surgery and I have stopped losing weight. I went to the doctors last Thursday. He said it is not uncommon for people to stall for a short period of time. 35 pounds is GREAT Weight loss for 3 weeks out.
  5. June 9th, I had the Gastric Bypass. I have had cravings, but mostly I have had Wishes. I live in a gated community. I really do not have big cravings. I have what I call Boredom attacks. When I am bored of whats going on, I want to eat. I have gotten up to exercise when a craving hits. Luckily for me. I get only a few cravings..

    What foods made you dump?

June 9th 2014 was my surgery date. I have not puked. But I have had Explosive Diarrhea. I woke up 1 morning and thought the cat had made a mess somewhere in the bedroom. Nope! It was me. Cherries were culprit. I live in Michigan Cherries are a big thing. Bill
