For me the rough patch lasted 4-6 days. After that I could go shopping with my mom virtually pain-free. Although hiccups and coughing hurt a while after that. Other than that it is a pretty smooth recovery!
Also, they are not kidding when they say "sip sip sip all day long" I didnt and suffered dehydration and readmission into the hospital so...sip sip you should be feeling better soon.
i wish you the greatest success in your journey!!!
Im ecstatic!
The decision to get this done changed my life. I was on a wheelchair because of my weight and only after 2 months I am another person...a standing and walking person.
It feels great to want to do something and actually be able to do it.
I am not living my life on the sidelines anymore.
I owe my life to this surgery!
65lbs to goal weight
here I come!
Im on day 10 of mushies and feel like i can eat more and morr every time. Does this mean my sleeve pouch stretched?
im so scared to have messed this up
im 1 week post op and on day 22 of my liquid phase. I dont have many words other that I cant handle the Protein shake flavor. I have been living off of plain Water for three days. Every step I take i feel like I am going to faint. My surgeons advice was:"be tough, it will get better"
I feel just like in a regular diet type of agony only that my body cant take binging anymore.
Im hurting so bad emotionally.
I dont think I can take another OliveGarden commercial.
2 more weeks before yogurt....
its amazing to read your rant. I feel like im reading my own brain. I dont know at all about the "it will get better" phase
it just seems like you dont see the light at the end of the tunnel. i dont either. i guess there is little you or I can do to change this. The part of our tummy that could handle the hearty good-to-cook meals no longer exists.
I dont have comforting or encouraging words as I myself have not experienced this.
i just say to myself every morning:"lets ride this day out" then one good day hopefully we'll both get the happiness we craved when deciding to get sleeved..
Hi
Im 3 days post op vsg. OMG. The gas in my abdomen cavity is killing me, it is painfull. I feel like I have a ton of bricks on top of me 24/7. I have tried walking it off as my surgeon sugested but it just wont budge.
