  1. Thanks for the tip! I will definitely try them.
  2. I had the same problems with intense itching! It makes you crazy! Ice packs help! No discomfort other than that. I did a little grocery shopping today and was ok. I'm feeling good, I feel like I have energy and I want to get things done. It's a nice change
  3. I hear you about that shoulder pain! Mine will feel like it is right beneath my left shoulder blade. I was taking the gas x strips but they didn't seem to work as well as just moving and stretching my arms more. I have no idea how much I've lost. I'm not keeping up with it at all. I know it will come! Not to mention we are still swollen and gassy from surgery. I have been trying to walk more, that seems to help also.
  4. Nursejess2010 I had the iBand and hernia repair the 24th with Dr. Snow as well! I'm feeling pretty good at this point. I still have some soreness in my left side, but that is just about it. How are you feeling??
  5. I sent an email, I love this idea!
  6. Great question, I'm with you on that one! I was banded on the 24th, so I am a day behind you. I would love to hear what some others have to say. I've been on water and premier protein shakes with the occasional jello cup or sugar free Popsicle. I am not hungry at this point, but my tongue would like to detach itself from my mouth. I don't know if it's the shakes, or that my family members are having normal food. I would be happy with some cream of wheat or a scrambled egg just to change it up!
  7. Had my surgery yesterday, everything went great! I'm feeling a little groggy and some pain in my left side. But other than that I feel pretty good!
  8. I'm on day 3 and I feel as though my headaches are having a steady competition with my mood-swings! Although, after reading this post, I am soooo happy that my preop liquid crap is only 5 days and not two weeks! I'm so ready for this band!
  9. I'm scheduled to be banded on Thursday with Dr. Snow, so far so good! The entire office is extremely nice and helpful throughout the process thus far.
  10. So happy to find this site! I'm scheduled for my band in Thursday the 24th also!
