  2. Pain in pouch area after gyn surgery

    I had a salpingo-oopherectomy yesterday, today having pain in my pouch. My RNY was done in 2004. The surgery yesterday was laperascopic and much lower than where my pouch is, so I'm thinking maybe pain from the gasses they pump in? Anyone else experience this?

    I had a laparoscopic salpingo-oopherectomy yesterday, waiting for surgeon to call me, but she had no clue about roux en y to begin with, so not sure if she will just tell me to go to the ER. Has anyone experienced that same pain like you had on the left side in the area they did the work, after a non-related surgery? Someone suggested its from the gas they pump into the stomach cavity.
