I just started using pure protein powder the whey protein one. It's pretty good.

I'm going to see him exactly a month before you. I'm getting sleeved nov 6. I will post my experience after.

No I'm not sure of a specific surgeon. I think I've seen a couple of them talked about in here with good reviews though.

For a PCP I personally wouldn't even tell them that you had the surgery in MX. I would just go in 3 months after the proceedure and ask for the standard blood work up just make sure everything looks good. I was able to get ahold of pudget sound bariatric center and they said they would see me. I just need to call them when I get back and bring all of the information I recieve from the surgeon down there (leak test etc).

Hi everyone! I live in Shoreline. I am going to be sleeved my Dr. Fernando Garcia on 11/8. I am very excited. But I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere here that would see me if issues arise.

My plan is to tell people I'm doing a diet like the slim fast diet. 2 protein shakes and a lean dinner.

How did everything go?

I'm sure I will get flack for this. But when my husband told the weight loss clinic here (he goes and speaks at the seminars) that I was going to Mexico. The lady said I hope it's not with Dr. Ortiz. He didn't ask why she said that. But it made me worry that maybe someone went to them after complications from him. I am going to Dr. Garcia Nov 8

Thank you for responding! I'll check with them on Monday. My husband emailed north west weight loss today but we are waiting on a reply.

Has anyone been able to find a doctor in the Seattle area that will see you after getting the sleeve in Mexico if complications arise?

Getting the sleeve is so scary and exciting all at the same time. I understand how it could make you feel depressed. I hope that since it's been a few days that things have had a chance to sink in and you are feeling better about it. I am in WA as well!

An anyone suggest a good Protein shake? And what about chicken broth? Just over 2 months till I go down to get my surgery with Dr. Fernando Garcia and I'm wanting to start getting all of this stuff figured out.
