  1. If nothing else works try lavender baby powder its works well.
  2. When your underwear is so big it comes to your rib cage!!! I bought new ones today! Lol
  3. Dr joya was amazing .. 5 star rating!!!
  4. Hello there! Sleeved sept 1 in Mexico. Dr joya team was wonderful! I had a rough couple days to start, a lot of gas pain. Almost 1 month out and I have lost 27 lbs and 22 inches. It is defiantly a mind control thing, really want any food I can think of but know the consequence if I do!! Lol Week 4 and still on purée and protein drinks. I am overwhelmed with how much self control I have had In the past 6 weeks and look forward to posting my first post op pick in another month or two!
  5. I don't feel anyone should explain why you went out of the country to have the surgery, we are here for support not judgement. I had great medical care in the time frame that worked for me with dr joya. Enough said
  6. Hello! My date is sept 1 and I'm 11 days into my pre op diet!!! It was rough, but honestly after a few days I have more energy than I have had in a long time! Mine only allows 3 shakes a day, sugar free jello and broth. I leave tomm for Mexico and can not wait to get this going already! Look forward to keeping in touch
  7. Sept 1st!!!! I have been on pre op diet for 5 days now.. It's not so bad... Lol I miss the habits more than the food I think. Although I think about allll the time!! My plan is to take it on phase at a time. Let me get to surgery day first.. Then I can focus on week one etc I'm so excited, can't wait ! I picture allllll the time what it will feel like to feel confident again. I'm looking forward to making a healthy environment for my whole family so we can be more active and food conscious together. I'm not telling my kids as they are at an age where I am trying to teach them they are "beautiful the way you are" so I think just watching me have food and exercise change is enough for their young ears! I have only told 5 people because the rest will judge and try to drag me down. These 5 people will be my support group xoxo I think once I have reached a goal I am happy with, and have worked on me.. Then maybe I will share and maybe never. it's not that I am ashamed it's that I want to enjoy and savour my experience without negativity and the sleeve is nothing but a tool.. I still do the hard work myself. So I leave in 1 week for Mexico with my best friend in tow who is also having the procedure done .. Stay tuned! Good luck to you all that are having it done aswell!!!
