How To Deal With Changes In Your Relationship After Weight Loss Surgery
Thanks for a great article! Another aspect of difficulty in relationships after weight loss surgery can be due to the fact that sometimes when we are overweight, we settle or tolerate certain situations, but as we lose weight and gain self confidence, we also realize that we are deserving of respect and happiness, and therefore choose to end toxic relationships. This has been my personal experience!

"When I finally lose the weight I am excited to...."
I am almost 15 months post-op and I think the most significant, rewarding change has been just the overall self esteem boost! Feeling good about yourself for the first time in forever is life changing!... I also finally don't mind having my picture taken, after avoiding the camera for so many years!... Love that I have pics of me and my babies together now! So excited for you as you start your journey!

Hello! Newbie 14 Months Post-op!
I found the information on 5daypouchtest.com, under "plan" and have done this 4 times since I was sleeved. I feel like it helps me to get past my carb cravings when I have been snacking too often, and I personally think it helps shrink your pouch/ stomach and limit capacity once again. It also helps with stalls. The first two days is liquid protein, shakes, broth, etc. The third day is soft protein, eggs, fish. Fourth day is firm protein, ground turkey, ground chicken, shrimp, lobster. The fifth day is solid protein, steak chicken, etc.... Hope this helps!

Hello! Newbie 14 Months Post-op!
Just wanted to say hello! I am 14 months post-op and new to this forum. After being overweight most of my adult life, I decided to have weight loss surgery. It was the best decision ever! On the day of surgery, I weighed 258 pounds. I currently weigh 138 pounds, which is 2 pounds below my final goal weight! I feel happy and healthy where I'm at, and I am trying to maintain my weight. I am pretty disciplined about eating properly and going to the gym, but have been struggling lately with slacking and snacking! Planning on doing a 5 day pouch test to help get back on track! Looking forward to sharing our successes and struggles! Glad to be here!
