  1. Justwatchme and 2muchfun, Thanks for your imput.... It's hard trying to prepare meals without a guide. My the big book on bariatric surgery just came in the mail today. So, I'm going to look at it for some menu ideas. My surgeon said nothing about how much Protein I should have. He just told me to stay away from the Protein drinks that he wanted me eating... This is a learning experience.
  2. I had my first fill on Thursday. Today I started back eating regular food. I think I have 3 cc in my 10 cc band. I don't go back until December. For lunch I had a Peanut Butter jelley sandwich on thin wheat bread... No Problem... I had some lentil snaps(tomato) no problem.... Next was my mixed fruit cup in it's own juice... After a couple of bites I got this funny feeling in my throat and here it comes back up... (SORRY) I'm done until Supper... WOW is all i can say. My dr doesn't believe in snacking and he hasn't told me how much Protein to eat. He just said to continue to9 do what i'm doing and that I'm doing fine.... I know i need to drink more Water....

  5. I had my first fill on Thursday. I also have 3 cc in a 10 cc band. I think I had myself so woked up about it. It really wasn't bad. My dr. doesn't want to see me back for 8 weeks. I thought that was a long time, but he said i'm doing fine and he'll see me then. I'm back on regular food tomorrow...
