  7. So today I've hit another ten pound loss, which I count as a huge success, I was due for a fine meal out, and three times I tried to get my husbands attention and all the man wanted to do was stare at an iPad screen reading the news! For Christ sake, I fit into a dress which I haven't been able to wear in two years, I wore jeans that was too small, now too big and boots that were too small for me now I can fit two fingers into it all closed up. I tried to look sexy and attractive but nothing seamed to catch his attention. Before I lost weight I felt like why bother, he's not attracted to me now. NOW I've lost 45 pounds and still, I can't seam to attract his attention. I just needed to vent!!!! On top of it all, I just don't feel he's supportive at all. Again I'm sorry for my rant.....I'm living in china with no one I really talk to about any of this!

  13. Quick question, I'm embarrassed to ask, but here I go...... I'm seven weeks out and have for no apparent reason broken out in a rash. Uncommon for myself as I've never had them except during chickenpox many years ago. Have any of y'all broken out in rashes/hives? If so, how are y'all treating it? I'm traveling a lot and really don't have the time to visit a doctor at the moment. All the best!

  15. Just curious how much people have lost. End of July is coming up soon! I was sleeved June 25, at 245lbs and 4weeks 4days later I'm flown 215lbs. A 30 pound change! I'm Shocked!! Perhaps vacation helped, my doc gave me the ok to swim and first thing I did was book a ticket to the reef house and snorkeled several hours a day.
  16. This is on FB? Is it closed or a private group?
  17. Hello everyone! Would y'all please share what you are eating during phase three, purée. I'm having such a hard time!
  18. I'm using chewy vitamins from bariatric advantage. On their site you can customize what you need according to which operation you're having.
  19. Thanks for the response, I greatly appreciate it. Living in a foreign land makes it difficult for me to attend support groups like we have back home(Texas) I really appreciate this site!
  20. Hi there! I hope you're doing well, I flew in from China to have my operation in Houston where my parents live. I did a lot of research on which doctor I wanted to perform the operation, which I am so happy I did because. He did a phenomenal job. I had my operation on June 25, that was a Wednesday, Thursday I was still in the hospital, Friday and Saturday I had discomfort but walked around the house and I stayed in bed, but Sunday I was ready to go out, still taking it slow, and have a good time. Today make 2 1/2 weeks postop, and I am still feeling fantastic. My discomfort has gone, I have no pain, and no nausea. I am pretty much able to take down anything I want. I am lactose intolerant, so in that retrospect I still cannot have anything with dairy, which isn't a big deal because I couldn't have it before. My doctor wants me to do three weeks full liquid, three weeks puréed, and three weeks soft. The problem is, I feel so fantastic that I want to just skip to the next level and do two weeks, and then skip to the next level do two weeks. I am having such a hard time sticking to just full liquids. So far, I have lost 24 pounds (SW 245) since the operation on June 25. As far as Protein drinks goes, I am using Isopure which is lactose-free, and they actually taste great. I've been buying the package portions because I do travel a lot and it helps me to actually just have it in a pouch portioned where I can just shake it up and drink it. All in all, I wish you the best of luck. I think this is the best thing I have done so far and hope you feel the same too.
  21. Hi I have a rather curious question if anyone knows: what happens if one eats chicken three weeks post-op? What effects does it take on the pouch and staple line?
