  3. Thanks for your response. I am also getting the gurgley and gassy rumblings. They are similar and it is probably more in my head, though I feel better after having a shake. I will start stage 2 on Tuesday which will be purée and soft foods so that should help. I am also taking a 6 week "hungry head" class/ support group starting Thursday to help me deal with the cravings and perceived hunger, I'm just surprised it kicked in so quickly!!!
  4. I had the gastric sleeve on Monday June 30th. I am 6 days post op and started protein shakes on Friday. Why am I so hungry? The popsicles and jello aren't keeping me full. Any suggestions?

  6. Had the gastric sleeve surgery on Monday June 30th, 2014. I came home from the hospital yesterday. I have been experiencing really painful gas pains, painful explosive diarrhea and sharp pains in my belly when I walk. Does this seem normal? I called my Dr.'s office today and the nurse said it is to be expected. However, I have friend who had the same surgery on the same day and her pain has gotten much better. Am I just being a worry wart?
