  1. Sounds like so much fun. I love scrapbooking...wish I lived closer! Nancyp
  2. I just joined this board last night so maybe I'll find the answer somewhere but I've been reading that some people eat cottage cheese and yogurt before surgery. I was on opti-fast for 3 weeks...I guess every doctor/clinic decides how they want to do it. Just wondering. Nancy
  3. I had my surgery on Oct. 3 and had a few minor problems...Dr. C and Tammy (nurse) both called the first day, Dr. C called twice the second day and said he would meet me at the clinic...even if it was the middle of the night...ON THANKSGIVING WEEKEND! I asked him, the next day when he called again, "do you ever take a day off"...he laughed and said sometimes! Very nice man! Nancy:rolleyes:
  4. I'm from Canada...my insurance doesn't pay for it either. I payed $16,000 and fills/follow-up are covered for 5 years. Nancy
  5. I was banded on Oct. 3 and really thought I'd feel better than I do...lots of left side and chest pain. I booked a week off Wed. - Wed. but I think I might need the extra couple of days. Nancy
  6. Hi everyone...I was banded Oct. 3/07. I'm feeling a little down today and really want to eat something solid. I guess that is normal but it has me a little worried. Anyway looking forward to reading all of the posts and getting lots of suggestions to help me along. Thanks Nancy
