I was banded 3 days ago and I feel pretty good. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Very little hunger and interest in food. I can do this!

Well, got banded on Thursday 9/18/14 I feel great overall. dont even feel the band itself. Have some soreness around the incisions and my Shoulder blades bit give medicine for that. I think this thing may actuall work. Good luck. Roger Lochridge

I live in Houston, TX Southwest near Sugar Land. 10 days and counting. Been on the preop since Monday and have lost 10 lbs. I'm doing well and actually not starving. Were do you live?

Congradulations to the September Lap Banders! I too and schedule for September 18th for my lap band. I'm a young 61 year old but way overweight. It's been a struggle to for me most of my adult like. I'm trying to imagine how cool it really be when you can fit into your cloths and to be able to tie your shoes! I've enjoyed these boards a lot. And plan on hanging around for awhile.
