I called daily...I didn't care what they said although it only took a few but I found out before they sent my approval in the mail..the agent seen it had just been approved an gave me my precertification number over the phone..hang in there! Anthem is approving these left an right at least I do no for Kentucky anthem...fortunately they don't require 6 month diet supervision. .

I'm like you Thank you for your comment: ) my surgery is the 8th..the emotional roller coaster..to do not to do..with the encouragement from my specialist an thyroid disease yo yo weight for 25 yrs enuff is enuff! I want my life back! This isn't me! My hubs has my back he said we are in this together! I'm like you if someone ask me who also has a weight problem I'll suggest this bc of the benefits an it's for life!

I have only told my bff's which is just a few an I no they won't say anything, My hubs which is my biggest support an best friend an another good friend who had gb 7 yrs ago she has supported me the past 3 months said it was the best decision she ever made for herself. .so I have told my parents theyr going in to fix my stomach with all the vomiting I've done thru my history an fixing my hernia...that's all I'm saying bc I don't want to hear anything from anybody! Between polymyalgia, Fibro, sjogrens and hashis an a butt load of other illnesses I'm going thru this...I've yoyod weight for 25 yrs...I eat organically an I don't even eat much at once...2 of my drs sent me to WLS. ..for them to send me an insurance approval within 48 hrs I'm not alone in this desicion. ..my surgery is Tuesday!an I will tell them after seeing weight drop will be" restrictive dieting an WW...!

I m nervous, scared,happy excited I'm all over to! I no how ya feel.my hubs is my biggest supporter...I'm not telling others I don't want to hear it..I had 2 of my drs send me to WLS I'm surprised how smooth an how long of a process this is.I've been 3 months from start to surgery date...I just stumbled across this website! I no exactly what you mean about no telling ppl...there's only 5 of my family an friends that no...I don't want to hear it either..my surgery is next Tuesday the 8th...I'm excited an nervous an I was told 2 shakes 1 meal a day till 48 hrs before the 3 shakes a day...I've been soo hungry! I'm not sure if I'm doing this thread right or not I wanted to tell you what I did...mine was submitted into anthem on a Wed. ..by Friday I was a nervous anxious wreck so I called precertification myself asked if it had been approved yet.she said no I don't see it yet.so Saturday I called again one of the agents seen it partially online in system so she finished putting rest info into system by Mon it was pending the nurse had just received my clinical notes by Tues it was APPROVED! I called my WL team she called an got the precertification number scheduled me for last preop meeting I called surgery sceduler at my surgeon office she penciled me in..seen him yesterday an surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday. ..my emotions are all over the place! Take the bull by the horns an get them on the ball...!! Best wishes: )
