  1. Yesterday i had my second fill. I drank the bottle of Water with no problems and had Soup for dinner, no problem there either. This mroning had some tea and that was fine, but had trouble when i tried to have my Cereal at Breakfast and my chickpea salad at lunch. I spit up a bit but it felt like it was getting stuck. Is this normal the day after a fill? didn't have this problem on my first one...just wanna make sure everything's ok and i don't need a defill. thanks!:help:
  2. So i've been banded for almost 2 months and feel like i've gotten nowhere. I'm 5lbs heavier then i was pre op and possibly more since initially having my surgery. I was doing well and then fell off the wagon once i got to solids. having binge weekends and trying to be good during the week. I've just got back into the gym slowly but surely, and yet the scale barely moves. i flutter between a few pounds and it's frustrating. I've had one fill and i'm going for my second this week. I looked at my weight calendar and i way 10lbs more then i did a year ago(sad but true). i've been eating better but i don't know what i'm doing wrong....it's frustrating and especially with the holidays coming up i wanna show off the new me...but really feel like there's nothing to show but failure.:help:
  3. So i was banded on Sept 27/07 and just wondering when did you start excercising. I need a kick and i think getting back into the gym will help. I know swimming isn't allowed till a month afterwards....Just need to get refocused. :help:
  4. I was seeing a naturopath before my surgery and taking all kinds of Vitamins. Now that i can't swallow pills, just wondering what vitamins is everyone taking or if you have any suggestions. I was taking stuff for my thyroid, Iron, to regulate my cycle. thanks:help:
  5. Just wondering if anyone has been able to eat Sushi?
  6. i had the same problem, i started taking Senekot and it helped. you can get it at any drugstore. good luck
  7. i felt the same way. Everyone around me was losing weight and i've been trying for years! i get to certain point and the weight comes back. When i went in for my consulation, i started crying. I couldn't take this any longer but was i ready for something so drastic. Well now it's done and i'm ready....well it's a constant battle but i'm ready for it! It's all about the support system of friends and family and thinking of all the things you can do when you've lost the weight.
  8. So i'm in the full Fluid stage adn did a stupid thing. After a bad day, i ate a bag & a 1/4 of chips. I felt so sick afterwards. Didn't throw up( ok a bit of flem) and had a few bowel movements but was in rough shape for the rest of the night. I still have my Soup for dinner and took some tylenol to help me sleep. So paranoid that i've moved the band? Also i had some bad Snacks during the clear fluid stage and when i got on my scale well my weight was the same as the day of my surgery. I was going down on the scale at home. I know different scales, but what am i doing wrong. Will i just maintain my weight till i get my first fill? Any advice....
