  6. I'm seeing it on the scale as well. I lost 7 pounds on 1 week liquid diet before surgery. Gained those 7 pounds back after surgery with all the iv liquids they gave me in the hospital. Lost them in three days and have now been losing about a pound a day.

  9. Thank u for starting this thread. I had surgery November 11. Everything went smoothly. I did need pain medicine. It has gotten better as each day passes. No gas pains after first day. Im just concentrating on getting all my protein in. I was able to drink two protein shakes today. I eat greek yogurt broth and sugar free popsicles. I have no regrets in making the decision to have this surgery..

  14. I stay on the full liquids for a week and then pureed for three weeks.
  15. I had surgery on the 11th. Im feeling better as each day goes on. Im on full liquids now. Protein shakes broth yougurt sugar free popsicles.

  17. Yeah i feel the same way about the popsicles. I start protein drinks and yogurt tomorrow. Two days post op. Getting better with the pain.

  19. Yay!!! Im on the loser side. Surgery went well. Felt lousy and in pain when i woke up from surgery. Gave me medicine and felt better. This gas is no joke. Went for a couple of walks. Got nauseous the first time. Walked the and back. Felt pretty good. Walked the second time with no problem. Will keep y'all posted.
