I have a question. What exactly is a Gurgle? I've had "slime" but not sure if that's the same thing you all are referring to. Im still new and this is the 1st time I've heard that expression.

My husband and I went out to a Mexican Restaurant last night, I ate a little too much and since then, I feel the same soreness around the banded area as I did for a few days after my original surgery. I didn't have any slime or other side effects (but I did a NO-NO that I normally don't do and drank with dinner) . Has anyone ever eaten too much and felt sore in that area? Just new to the Banded Life and any new pain/ache, I get concerned. I've had no other issues, just sore right there. Thanks for any advice

I wish I could give advise but Im still very new. My surgery was March 2014 so I haven't experienced anything like that yet. Sounds like your weight loss is great though , i'll be glad when I reach the green zone I would get checked out if it lasts more than a day or so. Good luck and hope you feel better soon!

I am having the same issue! Last week my hair dresser told me to get a "SUPER B" Vitamin. Her mom was told to take it after surgery and she said with in a month she started to look like a Chia pet...lol......I also have long thick hair and at about 3 months out, it was coming out in clumps in the shower! I started taking the super B Vitamins 1 week ago and I can already tell a little difference. Less is falling out. And I agree with the anesthesia thing because I lost 25 lbs the 1st 6 weeks but it almost stopped since then. Good luck to you!

Why can I eat something one day but the next day it will get stuck

I can drink my coffee 1st thing, then about an hour later I drink a protein shake and I'm good. I was just on vacation and thought I'd eat breakfast. ..... BAD idea! Lol. It also seemed to make the entire day rough for me. Country _ girl _ NY, when was your surgery?

2muchfun, Thank you I've just been banded since March 2014.....still learning so much..my weight loss pretty much stopped after the 1st 6 weeks, I know it's a slow process, but I'll be glad when SOMEthing starts to drop :-/ ..... any other app or support group suggestions?

FOR Me, I just start to feel a tightness, like when I used to swallow too big of a bite (before surgery that is) then I know not to put one more thing in my mouth because it's going to hurt for a while. ....... in relation to that feeling, I have a question that I know will be TMI, but, here goes,..... when I get that feeling, I know I will be spitting out a ton of saliva for at least 15 mins. Mainly because I can't swallow ANYTHING else because it's too painful. But I have yet to throw up. I've heard some say they projectile vomit right away but I havent. Does anyone else have the mouth watering issue vs throwing up?

Yea, I'm starting to learn the early signs of food getting stuck and stopping right away. I've also written off a few things and learning to chew slower and take smaller bites. Thanks for the feedback.

I had mine 4 months ago. I feel your frustration although I'd hope at month 10 I'll have lost more. I lost 25 in the first 6 weeks but it pretty much stopped after that. I'm not in the "green zone" yet but after my 2nd fill, I can tell a big difference in how much I can eat. Just hang in there,! A friend of mine took 4 yrs to reach her goal. It was slow but steady best of luck to you

2 nights in the hospital? Are u having lap band or something else?

I had surgery March of this year. I remember not being able to burp but just know it does go away. I burp better now then ever. .lol
