    I recently had my surgery on Feb. 9th and I am experiencing the same painful episodes that you are. Prior to my hospital release, I was prescribed Lidocaine patches that I place over the hurtful incision for 12 hours per day. The patches have eased the pain tremendously.

    I was in for two much needed nights to establish a good routine for meds and liquids. I simply felt more secure there than at home.
