  1. Congrats!! My surgery is also on dec 3rd.
  2. Hello!! I'm a newbie to the forum I'm currently going through the 3 months medically supervised dieting required by my insurance before they will approve my surgery. My BMI is currently 40.8, which means I have about a 8-10 pound window before my insurance won't cover the procedure. I do not have any obesity related diseases that drop the BMI criteria to 35 (diabetes, sleep apnea, etc.) My surgeon has recommended that I DO NOT lose any weight between now and the surgery. All good, but I'm concerned about the 2 weeks prior to the surgery. How much weight, on average, did everyone lose during those 2 weeks on the liquid diet??
