  1. Here is the next link to the next challenge: The Memorial Day Challenge! http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/336920-memorial-day-challenge/ It will start on Monday, April 13 and finish on Memorial Day.
  2. Its time for another challenge! This challenge will be beginning with the first weigh in and goal on Monday, April 13. From there on after, weigh ins will take place Monday. Last weigh in will be Monday, May 25. This will allow a total of 7 weigh ins in all. The link for the spreadsheet is posted below. I'm taking over for @Susan11803. She always hosted the best challenges! Hopefully, I can keep up as well as she did! A Few Reminders You will know it is updated once I have liked your post. Please post weigh ins here in this post only. We are all here to support each other, so questions posted here will be answered by anyone else willing to help. If you want to adjust your goal weight, just add that in any reply to this post. if you miss a weigh in, no problem! Just report back in the next week. But if you missed three or more weigh ins, I will assume that you no longer wish to continue the challenge and your name will be removed from spread sheet. Spread Sheet Link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/164fvNZ0AyvtRwPARkHtUQoH9G0jV7S1EJF59ynH526s/edit?usp=sharing Have fun with this! Challenge yourself in new ways! Join us for the Memorial Day Challenge!
  3. I'll be hosting the next challenge; Susan is incredibly busy and these challenges really help me too! The next challenge will start the Monday after this one is completed, April 13. It's going to run until Memorial Day. I'll be creating the thread soon! Keep a lookout for the link =)
  4. 178.9 this morning. Happy Monday, all! Thanks Susan!
  5. Woohoo!!!! Great job!!!!
  6. Beautiful picture! Congrats on your upcoming wedding!
  7. Maybe you should hand out literature. I'm 26 years old, and wish someone would have told me "it's ok to think about/have weight loss surgery" when I was 20. My 20 year old self would have thanked you.
  8. CW: 179.7 Happy Monday everyone! Thanks, Susan!
  9. Glad to hear from you all! I'm also struggling with my water intake. Plain water hurts my stomach for some reason. Is that still happening to anyone else? Everyone sounds like they are doing wonderfully!!!
  10. Woohoo!!! I'm in southeast Michigan =)
  11. 181.0 this morning. Thanks, Susan! Happy Monday everyone!
  12. How is the pregnancy going with your sleeve/bypass? Which surgery did you have? (I'm on iPhone and can't tell)
  13. This is a great question! I'm almost 5 months out, and eat between 400-600 a day. I'm currently in the middle of a 10K program and I do strength training twice a week. I've also been wondering if I should increase my calories. The responses so far have been great! I'm glad people were able to give you (and me) real experience advice. PS: Great progress picture!
  14. Definitely go get fitted! I wanted a pair of Brooks in the WORST way, but when I got to the store, they recommended Saucony for my foot type. I ended up being able to buy last years model for about $50. I've been running in them for a few weeks and they feel amazing!
  15. CW: 183.5 Thanks Susan! Happy Monday everyone!
  16. 186.9 this morning. Thank you, Susan! Happy Monday Everyone!
  17. I'm glad the constipation is better! That feeling is so uncomfortable. Let us know how Saturday goes!
  18. I'm glad the constipation is better! That feeling is so uncomfortable. Let us know how Saturday goes!
  19. I honestly don't think so. I track my food everyday, get in my 65 grams of protein, etc. I just feel like my body needed to catch up. Attached is a comparison from January 13 to February 13. There was only a five or six pound difference, but to me it looks like a lot more. It reminded me that even if the scale isn't changing, my body is and I was very glad to have progressive pictures!
  20. Mona, great weight loss!!!! Peek, I've been struggling since January too. Finally, just On Monday, the weight started coming back off. Hopefully it keeps up for awhile!
  21. You just post your weight on this thread every Monday. Susan will "like" your post, which is how you know she received it. She will then update it on the spreadsheet (the link to it is in the first post of this thread). You make your own goal. For me, I want to lose 13 pounds this challenge. Just tell her in a post your goal weight and your starting weight. The object of this is to create some accountability. Also, it's fun to see how much the group lost as a whole over the challenge! I think the group lost nearly 850 pounds in the Valentine challenge!
  22. Yes!!! I feel the same way. I've lost a little over 70 pounds, but don't feel any smaller. I think I had a misperception about what I actually looked like 70 pounds ago.
  23. I have a tragus piercing, 16 gage. I wore a bioflex spacer and didn't have any problems. The only thing that was weird and I was nervous about was the little rings on the end that keep it on. It came with two, but there is only a little notch for one. I used both anyway, because I was afraid of it falling out! It stayed in nicely though, and I kept it in for a week after surgery with no problems.
