Psychological Testing
My psych eval went just fine. The shock therapy portion really wasn't as bad as people said it would be.

Beating myself up :(
On the other hand, you look way hot in your avatar photo, so I say you're still coming out ahead. Nobody wins every battle. It's winning the war that matters.

It depends on the hospital. Call them and ask.

It would be helpful to know what insurance you have.

General Anesthesia - Thoughts of the Day
I don't plan on ever dying at all, but assuming I have to at some point, I decided I would rather risk going out on the operating table while trying to improve my life than inevitably wasting away from being morbidly obese. (PS: I think I've read that you have a higher probability of dying from a hip or knee replacement than you do from gastric sleeve.)

Need some motivation, Can't seem to get back to the gym.
Do something achievement-oriented instead of appearance-oriented like training for a 5k or a half marathon.

Do you really get drunk quickly?
Man I hope so. This thing might pay for itself with the money I save on buying less small batch bourbon. lol.

What did you do with the lose skin afterwards?
I haven't had my surgery yet, but my current plan for loose skin is to stitch it together like a flying squirrel and fly around. I think the surgery would basically pay for itself by saving on gas commuting to work. Otherwise, I'm not really worried about it. If loose skin is the price I pay for a healthier future, I'm okay with that.

Endoscopy.
lol I had a similar conversation with my surgeon. He came into the recovery area to show me the pictures he took and said, "Everything looked good. You have a little gastritis (inflammation) in a couple spots but it won't affect anything." I said, "Well that makes sense, I had Taco Casa for dinner last night." He said, "Yep, that's it!" and left. haha

I knew I shouldn't have said anything!
I've only told the four people whom I trust the most and truly value their opinion. I really don't care what anyone else thinks. Being a jerk can be very useful sometimes.

Depression as co- morbidity?
Interesting. How would one prove that?
