Ikr I'm very thankful to have had a chance to get this surgery ...I'm waiting approval now , im going to put my best foot forward and really give it all I got ...with this tool im ok with being a slow loser as long as im getting myself to a normal bmi and a Healthy lifestyle making great choices for a Slimmer me ; ) please keep me posted with how you doing , thanks for your post

Yes I can understand exactly what you are saying ...my bmi is about 37 and im getting approval for surgery too im going to look at life in a whole different way what ever I lose will be a truly blessing always remember that I have a tool in place to help me be successful toward my long journey I know it will be slower for me with my weight loss but I will hold my head up high and be proud of what I have accomplished looking forward and never looking back ...only to see how far I've came your time will come stick to your Dr plan you will get great results hoping this coming week I will have my surgery date so good luck and I will be here to read you post : )

Don't judge yourself by other's remember everybody's different golden rule : ) you should be grateful for what you have already accomplished ...There are alot of people who's probably reading your post saying ...I wish that was me : ) even I wish I was in your shoes I'm still waiting to hear back from bcbs for approval not knowing which way the chips will fall : ( wishing you well on this journey with a great out come.

Duke call me today they said they had everything but the two you weight history and I had that faxed over and they also need approval from the nutritionist that also was faxed and approval from your psychological evaluation that was faxed also all these people have to approve you for the surgery... papers are going to be sent to bcbs tomorrow ...again waiting for approval ; ( shaking in my boots... going to the appointments and getting them done is easy ...it's the out come for approval what matters ...wondering if this office will approve you when you walk out that door good luck to everyone who's trying to make this dream a reality including me ♡

Bcbs told me if decided to attend the nutritionist with duke I would pay more ... if I choose to go attend a private nutritionist it would be free, anything associated with the hospital is going to cost you more money .went to a private physiological too that's where the difference come in ; ( the surgeons office don't tell the patients but I guessing it's really the patient responsibility to know their insurance company

Yes it's different ...I have bcbs teachers and state plan 80/20 I only paid 30 dollars copay for my psychological visit they sent a copy of my results to duke I didn't pay any more I get six free visits to my nutritionist

Im thinking 37 bmi for me with hypertension high cholesterol and Gerd a hernia that will be repaired at the time of surgery

My nutritionist visits was free without any copay but my physiological visit was 30 $
